4 month checkup

Delaney had her 4 month checkup yesterday. She is 12lbs 9oz and 25" long (Zoey was 13lb 4oz and 23 1/2" long at her 4 month checkup). She has reached all her milestones and is doing great. She had to get 3 shots but as soon as I picked her up she stopped crying.

She is eating and sleeping great. I put her to bed after Zoey goes down around 8:30pm and she sleeps straight through until at least 6am. A couple days last week she slept until 7:30am. She still nurses every 2-3 hours during the day. The Dr said I could start giving her rice cereal but I think I am going to wait on it. There is no need and I guess I just want to keep my baby as long as possible.
She is all smiles and giggles these days and I am completely in love with her!

Happy Birthday Zach!

I almost forgot to post a
Happy Birthday
to my hubby.
He was 30 on Saturday!
Grandma & Grandpa babysat so we were able to go out to dinner alone. It was wonderful!

Dedicating Delaney

We dedicated Delaney to God yesterday at church. It was great! I thought for sure she would scream the whole time, since she is already afraid of strangers but she was an angel. The whole service was very moving. Here are some pics.

Things are in bloom

We have been having really strange weather here. Last week we had a few days where the heat was unbearable. Then we had two days where it was so cold the furnace kicked on. Yesterday it was in the upper 50's and today it is supposed to be in the upper 80's. It is really throwing us out of whack. My gardens don't seem to mind though. The iris bloomed last weekend and my day lilies and peonies are almost ready to open. Everything in the vegetable garden is growing well too. I did have two cucumber plants die but I think the mole did that. I planted extra so it wasn't a big deal.

Zach's parents should be here soon. Tomorrow we will set up the camper so they can sleep in it. I figure they will prefer a king size bed to the couch fold out. Tonight it is supposed to thunderstorm so they will sleep inside. I don't figure they want to be outside during that. I can't wait to put up the awning and screen room and see what they look like. I'll post some pictures after we do.

We got it!

I called and talked to the guy and got it for $2750! He also threw in a bunch of extras like a porta potty (which will be great for Zoey), the king sheets, mattress pad and egg crate, detachable lights for the bed areas and a coffee maker. He even brought it over Saturday evening and showed us how to set it up. It's on my front lawn right now. They are really nice people and were very happy to sell it to us. He kept saying how glad he was it was going to a nice young family that would enjoy it like they did. I feel really good about it. It is the perfect size, in great condition and we didn't have to take out any type of loan for it. I think we are going to have a lot of family fun in it.
Zach's parents are coming to visit next weekend and they will have a king bed to sleep on now.

More possibilites

I swear I didn't have anything to do with this. This trailer was listed on craigslist and Zach wanted to check it out. We went, it is in excellent condition and has all the things I want on it. Screen roon, king bed, fridge and double seating areas. So, we are offering the guy $2800 for it today (he is asking $3000). Hopefully we will get it.
