Bathroom pics

Here are the long awaited bathroom pictures. I still haven't found any artwork or accessories, to pretty it up yet, but we are very much enjoying the space. The 48" shower and not having to share a bathroom with the kids and guests is awesome!

30!

I am 30 years old today! I don't feel any different so I guess there is no reason to be depressed about it. So, I'm not. I went out to dinner with my friends last night and had a BLAST! Today we are hanging out at home and finishing projects. My in laws are here pampering me. Life is good!

Completed Kitchen

Here are the promised pics of the completed kitchen. I still need to get some art work for the eating area but otherwise it is done. The girls and I even broke it in yesterday making apple bread. Having everything at an arms reach and the counterspace is amazing! I am so happy!

On to another...

She had a great time at school! She told me she made a new friend named Ashley and "Did tons of cool things." She said the bus was great and they all sang songs and talked. I guess the grandmotherly woman I saw is there to keep them all happy and behaving. I think that is a great idea! It definitely makes me feel a lot better.

She said she wants to go back again tomorrow, I knew she would, so we are off to a good start.

Zach's first day with kids is tomorrow. Hopefully that goes as well...

Zoey's first day of Pre-K

I was so nervous last night about the bus ride. All that kept going through my mind was who is gonna help her on the bus? What if she gets scared? Are their seatbelts? I knew she was super excited about it though so driving her wasn't an option. She had already told me she WAS riding the bus. I was so relieved to see that they had a helper on the bus, a nice grandmotherly woman, who welcomed her onto the bus, put her in a seat and buckled her in. She smiled and waved to me through the window happy as a clam. I still cried like a baby when the bus drove away though.

Home!

We are finally HOME! The girls and I moved back on Saturday and have been cleaning, organizing and cleaning even more since. Everything in my house was covered in a nice layer of plaster dust. I am about 1/2 way done as of tonight. The addition in finished except for some outdoor stuff like shutters and soffets. It all looks amazing! I'll post some pics as soon as I get it all cleaned and looking how I want it.

On another note, tomorrow is Zoey's first day of pre-k. She gets on the bus at 7:25am! She will be there from 8am-11am everyday. It is going to be a huge adjustment for us all but a good one, I think. She is super excited! I will also post pics of this soon.
