Elmo!

We went to see Elmo Grows Up in Syracuse on Sat. This was Delaney's belated birthday present. She is totally into Elmo so I thought she would love. She did! My mom and sister joined us and I think even they enjoyed it. The show was really fast paced and musical. Zoey danced and sang the whole time and Delaney got down a couple times to join her. Mostly she just sat in our laps and waved at the characters yelling their names. It was adorable! Before the show started and during intermission she kept yelling "Elmo" at the stage. Going Postal

On Wednesday the MOMS Club took a tour of the post office. The kids got to mail letters and watch as they came through the slot on the other side. They used the stamper, saw the back room and learned how mail is sorted and sent. It was a really great tour!

Zoey's classroom

Delaney and I visited Zoey's classroom earlier this week to see her play. Afterwards we had cookies and watched as the kids sang their alphabet song. Zoey posed by the job chart and a snapped a few pics of what her classroom looks like.

Who is scarier?

Here are Zoey and Delaney making their scary faces. Delaney makes hers all the time. Whenever she is mad she does it. It freaks me out because I think she looks a lot like Chucky! Zoey had to try a few times to actually get a scary face. I think she looks like a werewolf but that might be just because I'm reading Eclipse. Ha!

I think Delaney's face wins. It's pretty funny though because Zoey actually has a temper and can be very scary and Delaney is pretty sweet even when she is mad.

Nicknames?

I won't label myself the big pumpkin even though that is what my dad calls me. I used to just be the pumpkin. Just because I'm the oldest doesn't make me big (though Zoey does call her great-grandparents big grandma & big grandpa). I don't like the other nicknames that I keep getting slapped with either. We say Zoey Zoo, Laney Lou, Daddy Do and Mommy Moo. How is that fair!? Zoey took this picture of me and it came out pretty good.

New Bed

We decided to get a bunk bed for Zoey's room. I plan on moving the girls into the same room this summer. Hopefully it will work. We put the bed together today and it is awesome! As you can see from the picture Zoey LOVES it! The only issue at the moment is keeping Delaney off of the top bunk. My mom and I are going to redecorate the whole bedroom for Zoey's birthday next month. We are doing a ballet theme. My mom is doing some painting for the walls and G&G Anderson got some adorable bedding. We will also change out the blue walls for pink. She is so excited!

Kids Cooking

I hosted the MOMS Club Kid's Cooking on Friday. These kids love to cook! We made grilled cheese sandwiches and then cut them into shapes using cookie cutters and apples smiles (apple slices stuck together with peanut butter and mini marshmallows in between for teeth). Neither turned out looking very good but they were yummy to eat.

Dress Up

These two are all about dress up these days. Zoey is wearing her brides outfit and Delaney is in the tutu. Delaney always make sure all the accessories are included. Purses, hair clips, gloves and shoes. Oh, and she would never leave the house without beads. It's the first thing she asks for in the morning. "Where's my beads?" and then it's "Show? Gaba Gaba?" Ugh!
